Project Background
Our score for Patagonia’s “Hasta La Raíz” was a simple one, by design. The Director asked for a minimalist approach, using no more than one or two instruments for each track. But as we all know, sometimes simple is hard to achieve.

Much of the score’s influence came from Mexican singer-songwriter, José Alfredo Jiménez. His punchy guitar style helped us find the right emotional tone and cadence for this piece.
