Project Background
How It Goes is a 25 minute, single-take narrative film. The story follows a woman’s mundane walk home that suddenly morphs into a desperate, adrenaline pumping search for safety.

The film was shot on the streets of Brooklyn as as well as subways and bodegas, so we created a textural score that could seamlessly blend into these environments: the rumble of train tracks, a flicker/buzz of fluorescent lighting or thumping of a heartbeat.
