Project Background
On the surface, Mirasol is a film about Pueblo, Colorado’s multigenerational farming community. But leave it to Ben, he made a film that anyone with a love for family, tradition, food and hard work can relate to.

Our soundtrack for Mirasol features a palette of sounds steeped in the American West: violin, banjo, piano and cello. The entire score was built around a piano hymn that we created after watching an assembly of Pueblo priests blessing the fields before a harvest. 36 minutes, 12 original music cues and a defining tune from artist Scott Ballew.
