Project Background
Our score for “Wild & Wool” was acoustic and rugged. It seemed natural since the subject of the film was the Big Horn Sheep; majestic animals that can endure nature’s toughest elements.

All of the instruments in this score were recorded live: guitar, violin, percussion, plucked strings and a felt piano. We built musical themes around the sheep’s migratory habits and health status. For example, we used a subtle, weeping violin as young sheep suffered from widespread disease.
