Feature Films & Television

Documentary, narrative, episodic or 60 min specials. We love it all. Long form storytelling is the ultimate deep dive. Whether it’s an indie filmmaker or a fully vested series, our focus is on building themes and continuity within the score. We’ve tackled a wide variety of genres and subjects, too. From reggaeton to middle eastern, classic westerns to wildlife. It’s an intimate process, but we love being in the trenches.

Project Background
Have you ever heard the phrase, “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” This film was the perfect microcosm for this wise old adage. Cowboys was an 80 minute feature documentary, our most ambitious project to date. We finished the score tallying 32 original music cues.

Bud Force (Director) knew exactly what he wanted for the soundtrack. It wasn’t a spaghetti western nor was it modern. He needed a classic, big-orchestral sound. So we wrote string arrangements for an 8-piece string ensemble. We also recorded eclectic percussion, complex violin/fiddle arrangements and acoustic guitars.
